Established in 1978, it is owned by a group of cooperative wineries which cover the best terroirs in France’s South-West.

Winemakers: Hugh Ryman

Hugh Ryman, has worked all over the world but returned to his winemaking origins in SouthWest France and Bordeaux in the late 1990’s. Chevalier de la Gardie sees Hugh collaborating with a team of young vintners to bring the ‘Old World’ wine styles of this beautiful wines region into the 21st Century. Wine with freshness, varietal expression and vitality.
