Based in the heart of the small village of Caunes-Minervois, Chevalier de la Gardie wines are produced by Les Celliers Jean d’Alibert to exemplify the harmonious marriage of old-world charm and contemporary craftsmanship. Established in 1978, it is owned by a group of cooperative wineries that cover the best terroirs in the South of France’s South-West.
Hugh Ryman has worked all over the world but returned to his winemaking origins in South West France in the late 1990s. Chevalier de la Gardie sees Hugh collaborating with a team of young vintners to bring the ‘Old World’ wine styles of this beautiful wine region into the 21st Century. Wine with freshness, varietal expression and vitality.
